Art in a Day – Forest of Dean 2017
Art in a Day – Forest of Dean is organised by Artspace Cinderford, a registered arts and education charity based in the Forest of Dean (charity No. 1053492). Established in 1988, the organisation offers a varied programme of creative workshops for adults and children and specialises in the provision of fully inclusive, accessible, creative opportunities for people of any age or ability.
2017 sees the inauguration of our painting competition and exhibition. A week long celebration of art in the beautiful Forest of Dean. It is open to all. The idea is for artists to create in the open air throughout the forest on Saturday, July 15th, 2017. A still life will be set up at Artspace to enable those who are unable to work outside to participate.
During the evening of July 15th, and throughout the following week, artists, family, friends and members of the public will have the opportunity to view and buy the artwork.
